| If you had 100 Pickpoints, in which attributes would you put them to become a: Fighter, Mage, Potioner, Alchemist,... ? Use the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] to find out more about the cross-attributes & advantages! Physique, Coordination, Reason, Will, Instinct, VitalityClassic: Once uppon a time the principle was simple As much P/C as possible. Some Will for mana and more health. It was in a time when you could restore 100%. There was not the limit of 48 pp in each category. It was mostly good for pk'ing and making gc. Some very strong players used to have nearly 60p/80c. Modern: Then, some time the 48-limit was introduced and players had to think of a way to spend the pickpoints elsewhere, where they would be most usefull. A modern setup requires that you take pp in every main attribute, so that no cross attribute is left behind. Today the focus lies on: Rationality, Reaction, Dexterity and Toughness and Ethereality. Less on Might, Matter, Perception and Charm. You can keep your build balanced or go into the extreme! This is the point where we come to specific buildups. The following groups focus on the following cross-attributes.MageRationality and Ethereality mana. God = Unolas Alchemist, Potter, Crafter, EngineerMight Perk = I eat dead people FighterDexterity, Reaction, Toughness (Ethereality) God = Aluwen or Mortos Perk = NMT SummonerEthereality and Charm. | If you are unsure what you want, go for a balanced character. Then you can still decide later. Usualy you want to do a bit of everything and you make your weighting in the skills you wanna be really good in. Not an easy decision. But you should have an idea what you want to do and what your goal is. You don't get the pp all at once but over time. I compare it with walking a staircase. You do it step by step towards the final build. If you know what you want to do, then you can take negative perks earlier which will be another advantage. If you want to do it really professional, then you have your final build already planed out. And you know how its going to look in the end. Ofc if you are really pro, then you need no reset on your way ! [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]

| As you read before, you can have only 48pp in one category. The result would look like this:
| Maximum |
|
| Phys | 48 | Coor | 48 | Reas | 48 | Will | 48 | Inst | 48 | Vita | 48 |
|
| Hp | 240 | Mana | 384 | Emu | 960 | PP | 264 | Now have a look at this:
| Health | Mana | Emu |
| 240 | 384 | 960 | 25,0% | 60 | 96 | 240 | 50,0% | 120 | 192 | 480 | 75,0% | 180 | 288 | 720 | 100,0% | 240 | 384 | 960 | | |

| 46 | 95,83% |
| 4,55% |
| 48 | 100,00% | 9,09% | 4,35% | Let me explain a bit what this is about. This table shows you the %-increase when you add PP in batches of 4 and of 2. Example: When you have 4 and you add 4, you increase it by 100%, while when you have 20 and add 4 you increase it by 20%. In steps of 2 you increase it by 20% when you add 2PP to the 10. The higher your attribute already is, the less the increase it will be. Means, having 46 or 48 in one attribute makes almost no difference. You would do better to add those 2 PP in some other category. Solar | |

| Now the 6 Versions your have seen represent very much the basic builds. They go very much in one direction. Usually it said, that the more you have, the better it is. With the 6 Versions you can see where this is going when you stick to that. However, when you concentrate it too much in one category they are missing in another. Therefore, let us try some variations !
Let us start with Version 6 - because it is quite obvious how it is done.
all attributes are 20 except:
Might = Matter = 36 Charm = Perception = 4
Now lets subtract 12 Physique and add it to Coordination and take 20 Will and add it to Vitality. Now what did we change and what not ?
OK, we have the same Mana and the same Might. But we lost 80 Health, which we traded for +4 Toughness, +6 Reaction and +6 Dexterity. Big minus: the Rationality dropped by 10 while Charm increased by 10, which is not what real fighters 'want'.
Now let's keep in mind that by switching the Pick Points around we have still used the same amount.

| Another example - Version 2
This is basicly a pure fighter build, with lots of Reaction and Dexterity. It has also bonus in Perception (20). That is way above average for someone with 98 pp. But it lags mana. So what we want to try to do is, to give it some more mana. We don't want to change the Might or Matter because they are balanced and should not be lower for that kind of build. This build has everything you need and it hurts if you take something away. Just add +10 Vitality (80 mana). And finished.
Result: +5 Toughness ; +5 Ethereality

| Now let me add something typically for mage-build character. Version 7 - mage Version 8 - mage Version 9 - Variation of Version 1 8pp , acceptable for instance Version 10 - PCV build, 75% emu, high toughness, lots of mana, good tank, poor perception and rationality
